The Franklin R Sousley VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky has a requirement to Replace Roofs Building 29 Dock and Building 48 in accordance with the Statement of Work and Project Drawings/Pictures to be provided upon the posting of the solicitation. Work includes replacing the existing roofing systems of Building 29 Dock Area, approximately 750 square feet, and Building 48, approximately 1,550 square feet, with new roofs. All work to be completed in strict accordance with specifications and guidelines established per National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). The project is to furnish all labor, tools, materials, and expertise to complete project in strict accordance with the attached statement of work. This is a medical environment, and the contractor shall take into consideration demolition noise, environmental dust control, and specialized facility requirements as a medical environment requires. The hospital shall always remain in continuous operation and any utility interruptions shall be planned and executed as required, to minimize staff or patient disruptions. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 238160 Roofing Contractors, is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $19M. The estimated range of construction is Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
