The District is seeking one (1) supplier to provide waste disposal and recycling services necessary for the regular removal of waste on school sites and the District office in compliance with all city, county, and state regulations. All waste containers shall meet industrial and city standards. The successful contractor will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the waste disposal, food waste, and recycling services. Questions may be submitted in writing on or before 12:00 p.m. on July 14, 2023, by mail or e-mail to the attention of Robyn Wilson, Director, Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, and Construction, Subject line: Question to RFP #23/24-002 - District-Wide Waste Disposal and Recycling Services. Email: robyn_wilson@upland.k12.ca.us Each bid must conform and be responsive to the bid documents and require a bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid. The District reserves the right to modify and/or suspend any and all aspects of this procurement, to obtain further information from any vendor or person responding to the RFP, to waive any informality or irregularity as to form or content of this RFP or any response thereto, to be the sole judge of the merits of the Proposals received, and to reject any or all Proposals.
