The purpose of this solicitation is to contract with one or more vendor source(s) to provide water heaters on an as needed basis for the Davis School District. During the contract period additional like items may be added to the contract without revisiting the bid process. Bidder must accept Davis School District's Terms and Conditions. A copy of those terms and conditions are included with the bid. In the event of a dispute, Davis School District's Terms and Conditions will prevail. The District envisions that the successful bidder(s) will provide items per the line items listed. Items as specified only. No substitutions allowed. Prices quoted must be FOB Destination.Vendors need to be within 100 miles of zip code 84016. Estimated purchase volume is uncertain at this time. The district makes no commitment to specific dollar expenditures. We purchase an average of seven each per year. This information canbe used by the vendor at their own discretion but is no guarantee of expenditures. Award of this bid and resulting contract will be based on most advantageous pricing and responsiveness to the solicitation. Considerations may include factors such as local presence, experience, performance ratings, past performance issues, inspection, testing, quality, workmanship, references, time and manner of delivery, delivery charges, and cash payment term discounts, financial stability, cost, suitability for purpose, location of bidder's warehouse and other relevant factors to reduce overall expenses to the District and/or increased levels of service. The District reserves the right to make contract award(s) deemed to be in the best interest of the District. Bids shall be accepted unconditionally, without alteration or correction. The procurement officer shall reject a bid that is not responsive or responsible. A bid that is not responsive includes a bid that: is conditional, attempts to modify the bid requirements, contains additional terms or conditions, fails to conform to the requirements or specifications of the invitation for bid. A bid that is not responsible includes a bid where the procurement officer reasonably concludes that the bidder or an employee, agent, or subcontractor of the bidder, at any tier, is unable to satisfactorily fulfill the bid requirements. Prices quoted must be FOB Destination prepaid and included in the price of the product. The successful bidder(s) would be required to make deliveries within seven (7) days ARO as required in quantities determined most advantageous by District personnel. This solicitation is expected to result in a 5-year contract.Price escalation may be allowed annually on the contract anniversary date. Price decreases must be passed immediately to the District. Written notification and manufacture justification shall be submitted upon any price increase request and must be approved by the District.Standard Contract Terms and Conditions for contract apply to this solicitation unless Special Terms and Conditions attached or contained herein supersede the Standard Terms and Conditions. The successful bidder shall submit an invoice at the time product isdelivered. Davis School District's standard payment terms is Net 30 Days. Discount terms offered for earlier payment must be notated in the bid offer. Davis School District reserves the right to accept or reject any other payment terms offered. ACH Electronic Direct Deposit or Purchasing Card acceptance are the District's preferred methods for invoice payments. By responding to this solicitation, the bidder agrees to accept these methods and provide the necessary information and tools to facilitate payment. If a bidder is unable to accept a direct deposit or purchasing credit card payment, the bidder should provide an explanation in their bid submittal. The District reserves the right to factor the additional cost of paying invoices by check in its decision to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The purpose of this solicitation is to contract with one or more vendor sources to provide Water Heaters to Davis School District on an as required basis.
