RFQ - Indefinite Delivery/indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Professional Services Contract. The Fort Worth Transportation Authority operating as Trinity Metro is a regional transportation authority of the State of Texas, created pursuant to Chapter 452, Transportation Code of Texas and confirmed by a public referendum on November 8, 1983. The Trinity Metro provides passenger trips on buses, TEXRail, ZIPZONE services, ACCESS paratransit, vanpools and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) within Tarrant County. TEXRail, which operates between Fort Worth and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s Terminal B is solely owned and operated by Trinity Metro. TRE, which runs between Fort Worth and Dallas, is jointly owned and operated by Trinity Metro and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). Up to a one-half of one cent ($.0050) sales tax is dedicated to supporting the Trinity Metro’s public transportation program.
