The City of Racine is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in providing architectural and engineering (A/E) design services for renovations to an existing City-owned Transit Facility, located at Racine, WI 53405. There is no confirmation on scope for design, but a recent facilities conditions assessment is attached. Questions due: 7/14/2023 by 2pm CST Answers to questions posted: 7/19/2023 Proposed Project Schedule A/E Contract Award Q3 2023 Design Phase Begins Q3 2023 Construction Begins Q2 2024 Substantial Completion Q4 2024 The City of Racine, in its sole discretion and without cause, may terminate this Request, Purchase Order or Contract, in whole or in part, at any time without incurring liability to the bidder for lost profits, or any other costs of damages. The City may request additional information from any Respondent to assist the City in making its evaluation. A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent to five percent of the bid price. The "bid guarantee" must consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified.
