Site work for a water / sewer project in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

LOCATION Lake Byllesby Dam, Gerlach Way, Cannon Falls, MN 55009 SCOPE OF WORK This project includes: o Reviewing the proposed plan o Adjusting the proposed plan to meet the county needs **Please note a fire alarm system is not required at this location by code. This system is desired by the county o Purchasing needing materials o Installing the fire alarm panel o Installing the notification devices o Installing the detection devices o Installing conduit for device wiring o Running wires between panel and devices o Program the installed materials Dakota County Staff Responsibilities o Provide access to the site when construction is complete/substantially complete for them to begin their work o Provide information as requested about the site Contractor Responsibilities o Gather all necessary construction permits o Provide a point of contact for scheduling construction dates and times o The site is currently under construction and may continue to be so when work should commence. Work cannot commence until most of the structure is completed o Purchase the components indicated: o 1 Honeywell Notifier Addressable FACP (model is flexible but must be approved by project manager) o 5 System Sensor Strobes o 5 951 Series Photoelectric Smoke Detectors o 4 System Sensor Horn/Strobes o 1 Manual Pull Station o Miscellaneous materials as needed *This is not a complete list but outlines the major items which may need to be purchased **Based upon the contractor's designer, this list is subject to change to meet the updated plan o Installing surface mounted conduit between the panel and the notification/detection devices o Install the materials purchased at the locations indicated on plans (or the plans updated by the contractor's review) **Due to the nature of this facility, plans will only be released upon emailing the project manager o Connecting the FACP to a dedicated breaker in the electrical panel o Hiring subcontractors as needed to complete the work SCOPE OF WORK This project includes: o Reviewing the proposed plan o Adjusting the proposed plan to meet the county needs **Please note a fire alarm system is not required at this location by code. The Project Manager must be notified of all delays. Restrictions This site is critical infrastructure and requires anyone working on the site to undergo a national background check. Any contractor who does not pass the background check will not be allowed to work on the site. If there are questions about what will disqualify individuals from working on the site, contact the project manager. It will be the contractor's responsibility to ensure work is still completed. The bidding company must have a NICET Level III or IV certified designer review the plans. The county reserves the right to ask for proof of certification. Plans and Diagrams Email the project manager for plans of the site. Due to the nature of this facility, the project manager may request additional information before releasing them.
