Site work for a water / sewer project in Flatrock, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following: .1 Dredging the existing basin down to -2.0m L.N.T. Note that large boulders and armour stone units are present in the dredge area and these boulders/armour units are to be removed. The boulders/armour units to be removed, may be as large as 15 tonnes in size. No dredging will be permitted from atop the existing wharf infrastructure. .2 Excavation and removal of all rock (less than 8 tonnes in size) from behind the existing seawall, down to the elevations shown on the drawings. All rock removed from behind the seawall is to be disposed of in the disposal area shown on the drawings. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
