Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Repair of Aeration Basin Concrete at Almeda Sims WWTP. The general outline for these specifications is to provide repair services for the aeration basin located at the Almeda Sims Wastewater Treatment Plant. The specifications herein state the minimum requirements of the City of Houston. Bids will be accepted for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts only or City Approved Equal. Deviations or substitutions for this service are not acceptable and may void warranties. To be fair to all bidders, no oral interpretations will be given to any bidder as to the meaning of the specification documents or any part thereof. Every request for each a consideration shall be made in writing to the City of Houston. Based upon such inquiry, the City of Houston may choose to issue a Letter of Clarification to be available to all interested bidders. The bidder shall repair all cracks, joint between influent and re-aeration basin, and the spalling area using Sika or a City Approved Equal product.
