The work generally includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary for the replacement of
approximately 3,500 LF of 8-inch diameter CLDIP water main, water services, roadway paving
and all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans for the Water Main
Replacement at Country Club Estates, in the Township of Deptford. The sanitary sewer
rehabilitation work generally includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment
necessary for the cleaning and CIPP lining of approximately 2,600 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer,
replacement of sanitary sewer laterals and all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on
the Plans for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation at Country Club Estates, in the Township of
Deptford as attached to this bid package. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check,
cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon
a surety company approved by the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority in an amount
not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly
to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance
requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and
performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The right is reserved to reject any or all
proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment
of the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority, is the lowest responsible bidder and to
waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. Document Acquisition:
Copies of the bid forms, contracts and specifications may be obtained
from CME Associates, by prospective bidders upon request, until 48 hours prior to the time set
for the opening of Bids, upon payment of the sum of $100.00 (non refundable) for each set.
Checks shall be made payable to "CME Associates." No refunds will be made except as provided
in N.J.A.C. 40A:11-24b which allows for the return of documents in reasonable condition within
90 days of notice that the contract has NOT been awarded. Payment must be received prior
