This project consists of various repairs and enhancements to fourteen (14) existing Effingham County roads, including Gracen Road, Saddleclub Way in the Belmont Glen Subdivision, Silver Hill Church Road, Old Augusta Road, Archer Road and others. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: July 21, 2023 This project consists of various repairs and enhancements to fourteen (14) existing Effingham County roads, including Gracen Road, Saddleclub Way in the Belmont Glen Subdivision, Silver Hill Church Road, Old Augusta Road, Archer Road and others. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Effingham County roads to be resurfaced within this Project shall include the following: Archer Road, from the intersection of Highway 119 to the intersection with Brittingham Road (approximately 1.03 miles long, twenty (20) foot final road surface width). Existing road surface will be leveled and overlaid with Asphalt (9.5mm @ 135# per SY). Centerline striping to match existing. Gracen Road, from the intersection with Old Louisville Road to the intersection with Highway 17 (approximately 1.66 miles long, twenty-one (21) to twenty- three (23) foot reclaimed base width, twenty (20) to twenty- two (22) foot final road surface width). Existing road surface and base will be reclaimed to a depth of eight (8) inches and blended on- site with Portland Cement (approximately 45# per SY). Reclaimed base will be overlaid with Asphalt (12.5mm @ 220# per SY). Edge and Centerline striping to match existing.
