Site work for a water / sewer project in Carthage, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet of 6" santary sewer main, service reconnections, manholes, abandonment of existing mains, and appurtenances for a complete and operational sewer system. The replacement of approximately 2,400 linear feet of 6" water main, approximatrely 1,000 linear feet of 4" water main, service reconnections, fire hydrant assemblies, abandonment of existing mains, and appurtenances for a complete and operations water distribution system. 23003 A certified or cashier's check, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Carthage, Texas. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond each in the amount of the contract. The City of Carthage reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
