Contract Description: The Milwaukee County Department of Administrative Services is requesting a proposal to provide ongoing modernization of four elevators at CJF (Scope 2). Modernization Substantial Completion Date is 09/30/2024 (Scope 2) Bidding document distribution will be online in electronically internet Bidding System All bidders must meet the minimum software requirements of the bidding website and be able to view, enter, scan and upload PDF files to submit a bid. For further information contact 414-278-4861. Targeted Business Enterprise (TBE) participation goal is 25% for Modernization (Scope 2). TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT ALL REQUIRED TBE-14 FORMS SHALL BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED BY PRIME AND SUBMITTED AS INDICATED IN INVITATION TO BID. Bidder's attention is called to the "Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), contained in the Bid Documents, which set forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area. Bidders shall submit a completed contractor qualification statement not less than five (5) calendar days prior to the bid due date. Contractor qualification statement is valid for a three-year period commencing on the date accepted. Refer to Milwaukee County Ordinance Chapter 43 for more information. For the Modernization (Scope 2), a 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid and a performance bond will be required at contract award. For Maintenance (Scope 1), the RFP responses will be evaluated as described within the RFP document. For the Modernization (Scope 2), the low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner. Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bid due date.
