Starting April 1st, 2015 no contractor/subcontractor may be awarded a contract, nor employed on a Public Works project unless registered with the DIR. This project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR and may at any time require contractors/subcontractors to upload electronic certified payroll records on the DIR website. Bidders shall be required to have a valid class "B or C21" Contractor's License. Removal and disposal of asbestos in accordance with State of California Asbestos Abatement Specifications, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the federal Clean Air Act (and all implementing regulations) o Demolition and removal of building, basements, concrete/asphalt slabs, and foundations. o Demolition and removal of site improvements, including but not limited to foundation, parking asphalt, water fall retaining wall, septic tank, concrete patio, in-ground swimming pool and concrete sundeck. Below grade structures, foundation and basement slab shall be totally removed. Remove all vegetation around both buildings with the exception of large trees. Remove all fencing and fence posts. o Filling of the demolition site with clean lead-free soil, to meet existing site grades, in 6" lifts, compacted as necessary to stabilize the material and eliminate excessive settling. o Remove air-conditioning equipment without releasing refrigerants. o Dust shall be suppressed by a continuous water spray during demolition. o All salvage materials resulting from work under this contract and located within the specified areas will become the property of the contractor. o Wells, well pumps and water storage tanks are to remain. o This Project shall be Prevailing Wage
