Saving Project...

Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

A. The work under this Section includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required to complete all earthwork required by plans and as specified herein. B. Include clearing and grubbing, stripping, grade staking, excavation, fill and compaction, backfilling, final grading of subgrade, placing topsoil and portion of Dense Graded Base base under paved areas. C. Work under this section shall be coordinated with and in conjunction with the requirements shown on the Drawings. D. The contractor shall acquire a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), if needed. 1. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide Best Management Practices during the construction to attenuate environmental effects of siltation and/or erosion. 2. The Contractor shall install and maintain all Best Management Practices (BMPs) in accordance with the Erosion Control Plan (ECP), and requirements of the Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI) and (QCP) without additional expense to the Owner. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for the costs of fines, if any, levied by TDEC as a result of non-compliance with the NPDES permit. The Project includes the following Work. Streetscape improvements around the Courthouse Square including demolition, concrete placement, planting and seating walls, accessible ramps, and other features The Project has an expected duration of 480 days.
