The Project consists of pavement rehabilitation by means of asphalt rubber cape seal and asphalt grind and overlay at various locations throughout the City. Work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, storm water pollution prevention, traffic control, curb ramp upgrades, crack sealing, asphalt rubber cape seal, asphalt grind and overlay, dig out repairs, and new signage and striping on Donaldson Way (Eucalyptus to W Carolyn Drive), Gisela Drive, Elke Drive, Rita Court, Rebecca Court, Jana Way, West Carolyn Drive, Rio Del Mar (Rio Grande to Carolyn Drive) in American Canyon. This project is funded by the Napa Countywide Sales Tax Measure T and State SB1/RMRA. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who is not licensed in the State of California as a Class A License, (licensed in accordance with the provisions of Division 3, Chapter 9, of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California). The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, with the Agreement, a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price and a Payment for Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, prior to issuance of a Notice of Completion, a Warrantee Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the final Agreement price. The successful Contractor shall also furnish Certificates of Insurance evidencing that all insurance coverage required by the Contract documents has been so secured. All Contract Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the City of American Canyon, amounting to ten per cent (10%) of the bid, or by a Bid Bond in said amount, on the form included within the Contract Proposal. Prevailing wages are required on this Contract. The Engineer of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates.
