Boone Pickens Stadium Seating Enhancement Project - Southside Phase 2 Oklahoma State University, hereinafter referred to as Owner and Flintco, LLC, hereinafter called the Construction Manager. This project at Boone Pickens Stadium includes seating bowl enhancements including replacing the existing cast in place and steel bent plate treads and risers for the North and South Sidelines with long span aluminum treads and risers and bench seating. In addition, alignment of the 200 level vomitories with the 300 level vomitories, adding additional intermediate aisles and handrails, and providing additional wheelchair spaces within the seating bowl. The existing concrete field wall will be removed and reconfigured in concrete with a coping cap in the northeast and southeast portions of the stadium. Existing field wall pads will be removed and new wall pads will be installed around the entire perimeter of the field. The new bowl configuration will include chairback seating, loge box and terrace seating areas. Provision of the required number of wheelchair spaces to meet current 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design will be included as part of the project. The overall stadium seating capacity will be reduced as part of the renovation. The west endzone portion of the stadium will have the existing bench seating and supports removed along with the removal of the existing traffic coating, expansion joint and control joint materials currently in place. The existing precast stadia will be prepped for new traffic coating, new expansion and control joints will be provided. The existing bench seating will be reinstalled to their original locations. Rails will be reinstalled and painted.
