Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Stouffville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 18,500-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and fire / police facility.
Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire Station and York Region PRS. The Corporation of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, in collaboration with the Regional Municipality of York, plans to prequalify General Contractors for an upcoming Tender process to construct a joint Fire Station and Paramedic Response Station, located at 4902 Aurora Road, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. The Gross Floor Area (GFA) of the new station is approximately 1719 sq m (18,500 sq ft). The building will be One (1) storey in building height. The facility facility will include three fire bays, two ambulance bays, and 24/7 operations. The new Whitchurch Stouffville Fire Station and Paramedic Response Station is located at 4902 Aurora Road, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario. The proposed design will have two separate apparatus bays. The new station will be AODA compliant and achieve minimum LEED Silver Certification and Zero Carbon Standards. The Town of Whitchurch Stouffville will have 20 staff members assigned to the new station, with approximately 6 members on-site at all times.
