Lift Station No. 1: The work includes but is not limited to demolishing and backfilling the existing valve vault and installing an aboveground discharge header with concrete slab, thrust blocks, discharge piping, valves, coatings, and pipe supports, demolishing and replacing the riser piping supports, demolishing and replacing the pump guiderails and anchor bolts, installing wet well coatings and concrete repair mortar, installing influent manhole coatings and concrete repair mortar, demolishing and replacing the vent pipe, demolishing and replacing the 6" underground plug valve and valve box, installing a permanent bypass connection, installing a minimum 40 KW natural gas generator with a level 2 sound proof enclosure, a concrete pad for the generator, and an automatic transfer switch, chemical system bypass, bypass pumping for the duration necessary to complete the work, and all else as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station. Lift Station No. 3: The work includes but is not limited to blasting and recoating the riser piping, cutting and extending the vent pipe, installing over-current protection device on the service rack, installing a minimum 40 KW natural gas generator with a level 2 sound proof enclosure, a concrete pad for the generator, and automatic transfer switch, chemical system bypass, bypass pumping for the duration necessary to complete the work, and all else shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station. The project is located in Grand Mission Municipal Utility District No. 1 and within the City of Houston's (COH) extra-territorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Lift Station No. 1 is located at the address of 19330 Bellaire Blvd., Richmond, Texas 77407 (Fort Bend County Key Map 526-L) and Lift Station No. 3 is located at the address of 18900 1/2 Harpers Landing Lane, Richmond, Texas 77407. Each bid must be accompanied by either a two percent (2%) certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner. Bidder must be capable of executing a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract sum in accord with the conditions of the contract. Final Completion shall be achieved within 30 calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion. Questions will not be considered after 10:00 a.m., three (3) calendar days prior to bidding. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 calendar days from the date bids are open.
