This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, permits, etc., necessary to remove one manhole containing one pressure reducing valve, piping and tee, and replacing with a new concrete vault, two pressure reducing valves for the water service to the Hilton and Orange Grove area comfort stations at the Patapsco Valley State Park, Hilton Area, 1101 Hilton Avenue, Catonsville, Baltimore County, Maryland 21228. 28, 2023, by 2:00 p.m. to allow time for the Project Manager to respond to the
questions. 2. The proposed project shall include but is not limited to the following:
a. Removing one 48-inch diameter manhole with one 2.5-inch pressure reducing valve, tee
fitting section, and interior piping.
b. Providing and setting a 6'x6'x5' precast vault with hatch, ladder rungs and piping
provisions. c. Providing and installing one 3-inch pressure reducing valve with strainer and one 2.5-inch
pressure reducing valve, one isolation valve, and necessary appurtenances inside the vault.
2. Bidders who are unable to attend the Pre-Bid Conference, or need to request a follow up
visit, shall contact the Facility at (410) 461-5005 to gain access to the site.
d. Providing and installing one 3-inch and one 2.5-inch stainless steel ball valves and cast iron
valve boxes outside ofthe vault. e. Properly backfilling excavations, finish grading, seeding, and mulching all disturbed areas.
f. Removing and properly disposing of all demolished material, excess soil, and construction
debris offstate property.
