Haley VA Hospital, Tampa, FL 33612, as required by the drawings and specifications included with this package. The Government reserves the right to consider a SDVOSB, VOSB, or any other small business set aside based on the responses hereto. The James A. Haley has a requirement for construction services to Renovate Bldg. 1 5S to Private Patient Rooms at the James A. Haley VA hospital. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This requirement may be fulfilled by awarding a stand-alone contract for the construction of this project. It will use the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $45M. The applicable Limitations on Subcontracting is General construction. In the case of a contract for general construction, the SDVOSB prime contractor will not pay more than 85% of the amount paid by the government to the prime for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to firms that are not VET-CERT listed SDVOSBs.as set forth in 852.219-73 or VOSBs as set forth in 852.219-74. Any work that a similarly situated subcontractor further subcontracts will count towards the 85% subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. Cost of materials are excluded and not considered to be subcontracted.
