The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following Demolition and abandonment of the existing Sunset Hills Lift Station Construction of a new Sunset Hills Lift Station adjacent to the existing lift station Wetwell and pump improvements Odor Control improvements Magnetic Flow Meter, and Surge Relief valve vault improvements Electrical and instrumentation improvements Temporary facilities (including bypass pumping and temporary water) as required to maintain service during construction and connection to the new facilities. General conditions including scheduling, project coordination, field work and surveying, environmental protection procedures, submittals and shop drawings, operations and maintenance data, and other requirements as specified for the coordination and execution of the Work. Grading, gravel access road, erosion control, site cleanup, and seeding. Disposal of excess and unsuitable excavation and removed excess materials. Testing of all installed sewer infrastructure. The Project consists of constructing a new 550 gpm (interim capacity) and future 1,800 gpm (buildout capacity) wastewater pump station and abandonment of an existing 500 gpm wastewater pump station. All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit with their Bids affidavits of "Good Faith Efforts" in the recruitment of Minority Businesses.
