The Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida (the County) is seeking competitive bids for the purchase of Bridge Materials for the Deer Lake Bridge located between the Towns of Seaside and Water sound in southeast Walton County. Last date to submit questions is July 17th, 2023, no later than 12:00 noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to waljames@co.Walton.Fl.Us. Directing questions to any other staff, project engineer and any other person is prohibited and will result in bid being disqualified. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of one thousand And 00/100ths dollars ($1,000.00) made payable to walton county board Of county commissioners, and in the form of a certified bank check or bid bond, issued By a surety authorized to conduct business in the state of florida and having an A.M. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as may be deemed necessary by the County to be in its best interest, including but not limited to bids from a contractor who has failed to successfully complete a previous project to the satisfaction of the County.
