Deliver and install one 100 foot x 11 foot above ground steel deck truck weigh scale. Scale to be installed on existing foundation. In Ontario, weight measurement using scales is the primary mechanism used for measuring timber harvested from Crown lands and is an essential part of the ongoing recovery of Crown timber charges (revenue) as required under the Crown Forest Sustainability Act. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry manages a large inventory of weigh scale assets across the province. Renewal of aging weigh scale infrastructure is critical for maintaining and enhancing delivery of the scaling program. This procurement is to replace a weigh scale that has reached the end of its life cycle. Scale is to be delivered to the installation location within 10 weeks of signing the purchase agreement. Installation location is at the Nakina Lumber Inc. sawmill in Nakina, Ontario.
