Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Casa Grande, Arizona. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed project is located in the Pinal County on I-10 approximately 30 miles south of Phoenix. The project is located within the Gila River Indian Community. The project begins at MP 172.75 and ends at MP 173.73. The work consists of removing and replacing existing thirteen span prestressed concrete girders (EB and WB) bridges with new thirteen span prestressed concrete UBT 50 girder (EB and WB) bridges. In addition, the project includes roadway approach widening, guardrail reconstruction, pavement markings, and other miscellaneous work.
