Site work for a road / highway in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
As of Aug 14, 2023 the project was awarded to Sunroc-Depatco for $1,398,896.40 . Installing conduit for underground electrical and fiber optic conduit in preparation of installing a double circuit distribution line from the Paine Substation to Old Butte. Project to include the trenching, conduit installation, installation of junction boxes, boring, vaults, traffic control, and surface repair. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $950,000. The Project has an expected duration of six weeks Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Idaho Falls Power as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Idaho Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Idaho Falls.
