As of September 25, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for the rebid. The County of Yolo is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to provide a bid for the 20 North Cottonwood Street Roof Maintenance & Coating ADHC. Bldg. Project per specifications outlined in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). 20 N. Cottonwood Street Roof Maintenance & Coating ADHC Bldg. A bid security shall be provided with each Bid. Bid security shall be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid and shall be cash, a certified check or cashiers check drawn to the order of the County of Yolo or a Bidder's Bond executed by a surety satisfactory to the County of Yolo in the form provided in the Proposal section of these Bid Documents Submission of a bid shall be considered an acknowledgment of familiarity with the Contract, Plans and Specifications, and conditions at the site. Oral statements made during the bidding period may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. Bidders who submit a response to this IFB must have the ability to meet the bid specifications and requirement in this IFB. The County is not responsible for any oral or written interpretations from any other person. Questions received after 2:00 p.m. of July 27, 2023 will not be answered. The issuance and release of the final addendum is estimated to be Thursday August 3, 2023. Contract duration: 1 year The Contractor shall submit a faithful performance bond on the form provided with the Instructions to Bidders, duly executed by a responsible corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of California and acceptable to the county, conditioned upon the faithful performance by the contractor of all requirements of the Contract Documents. The amount of said bond shall be in a sum no less than One-Hundred Percent (100%) of the total Contract Price. The Contractor shall submit a payment bond on the form provided with the Instructions to Bidders, duly executed by a responsible corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of California and acceptable to the County, which in all respects complies with Civil Code Section 9550 and following. This bond, hereinafter referred to as a Payment Bond, shall be in a sum no less than One-Hundred Percent (100%) of the total Contract Price. Bids shall be submitted only on forms provided in the Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by all documents and information required to be submitted by the Instructions to Bidders and by law. No bid may be withdrawn after the time established for receiving bids or before the award and execution of the Contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. The low bidder, for purposes of the award, shall be the responsive bidder offering the low lump sum amount for the base bid and meeting all other bid submittal requirements. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
