Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Defiance, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of the work consists of widening and paving Ginter Road from Jef- ferson Avenue (State Route 66) to Carter Road. The opinion of probable con- struction costs is $248,862.59. Proposals must be submitted on the form furnished by the City; must contain the full name of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of a bond as required in Section 153.54 (A) of the Ohio Revised Code with a satisfactory surety or accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than ten (10%) per cent of the amount of the proposal by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 and Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code on a solvent bank, subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his bid within Sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof.
