This project will be bid on a unit price basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. GEFA Supplemental General Conditions page GEFA-4 states the goal of MBE participation is 4% and the goal of WBE participation is also 4%. The substantial completion and associated scope must be completed within six hundred ninety (690) calendar days. The full Contract, and second substantial completion milestone, must be completed within seven hundred fifty (750) calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Performance will be monitored and documented by the Project Manager. Not completing this contract within the time specified may hamper the contractors ability to secure future contracts with the City.
