The objective of this project is to bring the existing oil lines for several NHC oil tanks up to acceptable standards. Work needed includes: install missing isolation valves on oil lines for public housing units at various Iqaluit locations. Additionally, any isolation valves located on the drip legs at the indicated units will be removed and a new valve installed in the correct location. For this project there are 63 public housing units for a total of 60 isolation valves to be replaced and the valves removed from 6 drip legs, plus some new drip caps are to be installed, and there is two fuel oil tanks that are to be replaced. See Appendix A for the installers check lists. Number of valves, as mentioned above, may vary. Summary of work to do: Install missing isolation valves, as per this scope of work valves will be removed from drip legs and placed on the line feeding the building, for ease of servicing. Replace drip legs for 9 units, in accordance with drawing #2. Replace two outdated fuel tanks (IHA to supply the tanks).
