Task Order No. W9128F21F0082 W9128F22F0082 HDR Project No. 10342687A Construct a US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), research Headhouse and Greenhouse facility at the Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC), University of Nebraska , Lincoln, Lincoln NE in support of the National Center for Resilient and Regenerative Precision Agriculture (NCRRPA). This project will be executed using a design-bid-build (DBB) project delivery method, which will require the contractor to provide the government with a complete facility and warranty based on the Request for CENWO intends to acquire Construction Services for the NCRRPA HH/GH facility project. Provide a 15,000 GSF Greenhouse and 10,140 GSF Headhouse to be physically connected to the existing Greenhouse Innovation Center (GIC) on the Nebraska Innovation Campus and provide for a future physical connection to a future USDA-ARS Lab/Office Building (LOB) to the east of this project. The Headhouse will be constructed from interior masonry walls for durability and an exterior skin to complement the existing GIC and the future LOB design. Power supply for greenhouse will be within the headhouse and distributed to environmental contact panels located at each zone in the corridor. Water supply will be in the headhouse and distributed to each zone via corridor. The Headhouse will be physically connected to the GIC to prevent winter shock to plants moved between the two structures and to facilitate collaboration. The Headhouse will also be physically connected to the future LOB to facilitate deliveries and movement of research material and USDA-ARS personnel back and forth to the Headhouse and Greenhouse research space Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
