Project Category Code: Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, Water and Wastewater Facilities Description: Demolish and remove the existing channel grinder and fine screen. Furnish and install a new Cylindrical Fine Screen in place of the removed screening equipment. Work also involves the demolition existing screening room lights wiring and conduits with new wiring and conduits as shown and as required. Additional Description: Work to be completed without interruption of process and no depreciation of WWTP effluent quality. Flow shall be diverted to Raw Sewage Screen Building No. 1 during construction by the Owner. Flow is controlled by adjustable weir gates located in the Raw Sewage Flow Division Box. Bypass pumping by the Contractor is not anticipated.
