The purpose of this bid is to establish a preapproved list of vendors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to replace and/or repair refrigeration equipment and related components at Miami-Dade County Public Schools' facilities. The purpose of this bid is to establish a preapproved list of vendors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to replace and/or repair refrigeration equipment and related components at Miami-Dade County Public Schools' facilities. Projects may include any combination of work involving all types of equipment. Vendor(s) shall also be required to perform all associated and incidental work, including, but not limited to, repair/replacement of refrigeration equipment including walk-in and stand-alone coolers/freezers, ice machines, milk boxes, etc. and incidental plumbing or electrical work. Awarded bidder(s) will be required to provide a time and materials quote for repairs and installation, post award. M-DCPS reserves the right to award to approved vendors, on a rotating basis, any individual project whose cost is below the current quote threshold of $1,000 If needed, this bid shall also provide an option with which Miami-Dade County Public Schools may acquire refrigeration equipment and parts from approved manufacturers and suppliers.
