As of July 29, 2024, this project is in the 2023-2024 budget. A design firm has been selected. This project will likely bid in the winter of 2024. The Sylvester Street Stormwater Pipeline is high-volume traffic street with infrastructure damage along Sylvester Street between 5th Avenue and 10th Avenue. Pipeline inspection identified fractures in the existing pipeline. The Schlagel Park Stormwater Pipeline is a 42-inch diameter pipeline with along the western portion of Schlagel Park and lies within a US Army Corps of Engineers easement. The pipeline is aging and has infrastructure damage approximately 430 LF including root intrusion and previous lining failure. For interested Consultants this project will not have a pre-proposal site visit, however, the site locations are open to the public. Please see Figure 1 (Sylvester Street Pipeline Map with notes) & Figure 2 (Schlagel Park pipeline map with notes) below. The selected Consultant will be tasked with the design of the repair and/or replacement of the infrastructure pipelines and needed appurtenances for both projects. Technical questions regarding the scope of this project should be put in writing and directed to both City Representatives listed in Section 1.10 below, no less than three (3) working days prior to the time that submittals are due. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all submissions and factors involved make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Pasco.
