Renovation of a fire / police facility in Akron, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project consists of an air handling unit replacement at the Fire Maintenance Facility, 2474 Triplett Blvd. Work includes removing one fan coil and roof mounted condensing unit and replacing with one new rooftop unit. Project includes new ductwork and all associated electrical components and structural support for the new unit City of Akron Local Goal: 18% EDGE/DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/VBE (minimum 3% WBE) Disadvantaged Business (DBE) participation goals (subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this Project for those certified as DBE's in accordance with a federal agency such as the Small Business Administration or the Department of Transportation or by an approved State of Ohio agency. The Unified Certification Program (UCP) administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) can provide necessary DBE certifications Engineer's Estimate: $160,000
