The scope of work includes the construction of an outdoor Basketball Half Court (40'x40' overall concrete slab dimension) in Virginia Estates Park, Montgomery, Alabama. ( See Attachment 'A') The work shall be performed according to the following specifications. Contractor shall engage the services of a geotechnical engineer, licensed in the State of Alabama, to conduct a subsurface investigation to make a final recommendation for the concrete and soil compaction specifications. He may be contacted at dcard@montgomerval.gov All work shall be complete within 30 calendar days of the Notice To Proceed. Contractor shall engage the services of a geotechnical engineer, licensed in the State of Alabama, to conduct a subsurface investigation to make a final recommendation for the concrete and soil compaction specifications. 2. The basketball goals will be furnished by the City of Montgomery and installed by the contractor. 3. The basketball court concrete finish shall be a light broom finish. 4. The basketball court lines shall be 2" wide (verify color with City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation). 5. The basketball court concrete shall not be polished. 6. The basketball court concrete shall have no sealers applied until after the line painting is complete. 7. The basketball court concrete shall have no foot traffic for a minimum of 72 hours after painting. 8.
