Redmond Wetlands Complex Project This Project is a multi-year, multi-phased project that will construct new headworks and disinfection structures, 36 acres of lagoons, 90 acres of wetlands, administrative and maintenance support facilities, upsize 3 miles of existing 24"-diameter gravity sewer main to 48"-diameter, and public access amenities. Additional Project information can be found on the project website at redmondwetlandscomplex.com. The Method of Contractor Selection Has Not Been Determined at This Time. The Engineer's estimate is approximately $70 million. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes Chapters 279A, 279B, and 279C and the Redmond Municipal Code section 2.400. The Project will be funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, administered through Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. The Project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 and the Federal Davis-Bacon Act and the higher of the two prevailing wages will be required to be paid. The Project is also subject to American Iron and Steel, Recovered Materials, and Pay Equity requirements. General Contractors responding to this RFP do so solely at their own expense, and the City is not responsible for any potential proposer's expenses associated with the RFP. No Proposal shall be considered unless the General Contractors is properly registered with the Construction Contractors Board and licensed in Oregon for the type of work to be performed. The City of Redmond reserves the right to: 1) reject any or all proposal not in compliance with public solicitation procedures and requirements and other applicable law, 2) reject any or all proposals in whole or in part or cancel the RFP when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the City, 3) select Contractor on the basis of the proposals or to conduct interviews with the highest qualified proposers after scoring, 4) seek clarifications of any or all proposals, and 5) to select the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the City.
