Site work for a water / sewer project in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids for the installation of approximately 5,100 feet of 12" ductile iron water main pipe, 110 feet of casing pipe for water main using trenchless methods, 19 new fire hydrants with valves, 42 gate valves in valve vaults, the connection of 34 water services to the new water main, HMA and PCC pavement patching; storm and sanitary sewer removal and replacement; driveway, sidewalk, and curb and gutter removal and replacement; landscape restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project within Village limits as shown on plans and as described in Specifications, Plans and Contract Document PW-2324-12. Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions and Plans of this document. All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. To check on your prequalified status call the Elk Grove Village Public Works Department at (847) 734-8800. Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked to indicate the following: LUNT AVENUE - WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS BID NUMBER: PW-2324-12 DO NOT OPEN.
