Drainage systems and excavation/backfill of soils identified as Category IV Wetland areas located on the site. The disturbance of wetland areas is approved by the US Army Corps of Engineers under the Port of Chehalis' Regional General Permit #9. The Port of Chehalis has completed the SEPA process by issuing a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance. WETLAND A Installation of approximately, not to exceed 1,700 LF drain tile over 2.86 acres as shown in specifications. The minimum slope to corresponding drainage ditch shall not be less the 0.5 percent slope. WETLAND B Installation of approximately, not to exceed 400 LF drain tile over 0.38 acres as shown in specifications. The minimum slope to corresponding drainage ditch shall not be less the .5 percent slope. WETLAND C Installation of approximately, not to exceed 200 LF drain tile over 0.11 acres as shown in specifications. The minimum slope to corresponding drainage ditch shall not be less the .5 percent slope. WETLAND D Excavation, removal and backfill approximately, not to exceed 300 cubic yads soil in defined area. Backfill excavation with non-native minimally compacted fill (track walked), river pit run gravel, or other clean sandy loam alternative material approved by the Port. Excavated soil to be disposed at port owned spoil pile located at MRIS1, 207 Maurin Rd, parcel 01774300400 (one (1) road mile from site). Spoil material will be graded and shaped into the existing spoil pile to allow proper drainage. Material to be track-walked by dozer or excavator. The contractor has the option to haul and dispose of the material at a different permitted site other than the Port's spoil area.
