Toronto Port Auhtority and AECOM is seeking an experienced, and qulified marine contractor to rehabilitate the BBTCA Isaland East Dock Wall within plans and specifications share herewith. Work involves encapsulation of the East Wall in steel sheet piles from the northeast corner of the island to the seaplane ramp. The sheet pile wall will be cored into bedrock below the lakebed and tied to anchor blocks installed under the apron on the east side of the airport. Where Hanger 1 prevents installation of anchor blocks, rock anchors will be drilled to anchor the sheet piles. Work includes restoration and must be staged to minimize construction encroachment on the taxiway. The Work must be substantially completed by November 15, 2025 or as may be amended by the Owner based on the Contractor's alternative 2025 construction schedule proposal. Tenderer shall provide, at its cost and with its Tender, Tender Security for ten per cent (10%) of the Total Tendered Price. In addition to the Tender Security, each Tender shall be accompanied by a Surety's Consent for a fifty percent (50%) Performance Bond and a fifty percent (50%) Labour and Materials Bond in the form set out in Schedule A - TENDER SUBMISSION, and forming part thereof and entitled Surety's Consent. A certified cheque drawn on a Canadian chartered bank payable to Owner. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or parts thereof. The lowest Tender or part thereof will not necessarily be accepted. In Tenders requiring unit prices, the Tender will be evaluated on the unit prices and not solely on the basis of the sum of the unit prices multiplied by the estimated quantities.
