Renovation of a municipal facility in Thomaston, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of March 13, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established. The work includes removal of existing roof, abatement of asbestos, PCBs and lead paint on the Thomaston Town Hall/Opera House, and other associated improvements. Bids shall be on a unit price and lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid which in their opinion, is in the public interest to do so.The Town of Thomaston reserves the right to cancel the project if funding is not approved. Bid deposit in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum total amount of the Bid and made payable to the Town of Thomaston, Connecticut. Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. Question Deadline 12/22/2023 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via email at ajmascia@tighebond.com.
