This is the second and final phase ofthis project which consists ofinstalling decking on top of the new structural steel and wood platform, installing fencing along the front (at the pond side) and identical fencing on top ofthe concrete barrier to the right ofthe sluiceway by the waterfall ofthe pond. The decking shall be an azek or similar product and match in color and style the decking on the bridges around Mill Pond. Approximately alOftxllft area, the contractor is responsible for all measurements. The fencing shall match exactly the existing fencing/guards that is already installed on the bridges. The existing chain link fencing is to be removed and the new fencing shall be installed in its place, approximately 32 ft. The contractor is responsible for all measurements. The following products were some ofthe materials used to make the fencing/guards. l/2"x 1" black steel balusters 4x4 PT lumber (posts) 2x4 PT lumber 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" PVC, match existing 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" PVC, match existing 3" brown trim screws 2.5" brown trim screws. 3" wood screws (exterior use) Vi' x 8" anchor bolts 1-1/2" wood screws (exterior use) Metal brace posts (2 parts to attach to the concrete) for the posts. See photo The PVC are odd sizes; they were ordered originally by the Town through Lowes. The existing posts are set approximately 87" on center.
