Site work for a water / sewer project in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of NMB is issuing a RFQu for qualified civil engineering services for the Water Transmission Improvements project under contract with the City of NMB, with funding provided by the SC RIA through the SCIIP under SCIIP Grant # A-23-R151. The City of NMB reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or any parts thereof & to make a contract award in the best interest of the City of NMB. The SCIIP funding will be used to design and construct approximately 9,000 LF water transmission line, a 2 MG ground storage water tank, electrical/mechanical/control improvements to an existing water booster pump station, along with associated site piping. Water system modeling (update to existing NMB system model) will be required to verify preliminary engineering for the proposed improvements. As of July 13, 2023 design is expected to be complete March 31, 2024. Advertisement for bids will be July 1, 2024 with construction beginning December 1, 2024 and completion December 31, 2025.
