The City of Santa Clara ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors (hereinafter "Proposer") to provide as-needed sanitary sewer cleaning and assessment. Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City intends to create a pool of qualified contractors to provide sewer cleaning and assessment services for: Sanitary sewer force mains consisting of approximately 12,900 linear feet, ranging between 32 to 36 inches in diameter; and approximately 420 linear feet, ranging between 8 to 15 inches in diameter. As-needed sanitary sewer gravity mains and siphons ranging from 8-48 inches in diameter of approximately 100,000 linear feet. Materials include PVC, VCP, RCP, HDPE and DIP. Sanitary sewer manholes. Seven sanitary sewer pump station wet wells. The City of Santa Clara's sanitary sewer system collects flows from individual customers and conveys these flows through more than 270 miles of sewer main by way of seven pumping stations to San Jose/Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (RWF). Over the past five years, the City has issued task orders for cleaning and assessment for the following: 12,000 linear feet of sewer mains ranging from 30-42 inches 32,500 linear feet of sewer mains ranging from 8-42 inches 56,000 linear feet of sewer mains ranging from 16-48 inches 8,500 linear feet of sewer siphons ranging from 6-24 inches 18,000 linear feet of 8-inch sewer mains Deadline for Questions July 26, 2023 at 1 PM PST Contract duration: 5 years
