Renovation of a municipal facility in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Ellender Residence Hall Elevator Modernization Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150- 2192 for the classification of Building Construction or other specialty classification that is suitable for this type of work. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. No bids will be received after the date and hour specified. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. Performance and Payment Bonds required. Workers Compensation and Employers Liability required. General Liability and Automobile Liability insurance required. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Nicholls State University Purchasing Department no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
