The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks sealed bids for the painting of the Ceilings in the following Museum areas. Crew Galley Red Tile Area Planetarium Museum Interior Paint Specifications for the Crew Galley, Red Tile Area, and the Planetarium are as follows. Paint Colors: PNT-1: Interior Flat Black Paint Locations: PNT-1 will be ceiling color for all Museum ceilings. The Museum will receive paint on the ceiling of the galley of approximately 8256 SqFt. The Red Tile Area will receive paint on the ceiling of approximately 2900 SqFt. The Planetarium ceiling will receive paint on the ceiling of approximately 2500 SqFt. Please include an itemized list showing the cost of each area in the submitted sealed bid.You may also submit your seal bid prior to public bid opening to the Director of Procurement, for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, by coming in person to the Administration Entrance located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805. Bids must be submitted on DCM C-3 Bid Proposal forms. Additional documentation includes DCM C-4 Bid Bond, C3A Acct Sales Tax, Certificate of Insurance, E-Verify, Al Vendor Disclosure statement, Al GC License, and company W9 form. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
