The Base Bid work for the above contract includes: - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 264 LF of Bayside Cove from Frasier Trail to Termini. - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 870 LF of Elm Island Circle from Elm Island Drive to 4946 Elm Island Circle. - Providing full depth removal and repave with 4-inch asphalt paving for 1265 LF of Miller Road from High Drive (STH 20) to County Line. Major Items of work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 5130 SY of pulverize and relay,1240 Tons HMA Pavement, Items also included in this project are, traffic control and preparing butt joints. The Owner reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. As a part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a full and complete list of: 1) all of the proposed Subcontractors, and 2) the class of work which each will perform. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the Town. The PS & CD require that the selected Contractor and Subcontractor(s) furnish a Certificate of Insurance. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids within the 90-day period after the date of the Bid Opening The Town will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the Town of Waterford, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Town accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
