The work to be performed under this contract consists of the installation of approximately 31.520 miles of center line skip stripe, 4.330 miles of skip center stripe with no pass stripe, 34.209 miles of double yellow no pass center stripe, and 141.82 miles of fog line edge stripe, all in accordance with the State of Washington Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal bond in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal, made payable to the Pacific County Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such a contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Pacific County. To provide a standard for comparisons on required delivered items, unless otherwise indicated by the bid specifications for the individual items, suppliers are to quote an installed price at the locations noted. Quantities shown are not exact; payment will be made for actual striping distances. Prices should be all-inclusive, including furnishing and application of new or replacement pavement markings upon the roadway surface in accordance with the FHWA publication Standard Alphabet for Highway Signs and Pavement Markings and Section 8- 22 Pavement Marking of the WSDOT Standard Specifications, including taxes and prevailing wage expenses. All project specific questions and response to answers for Striping will be available on-line as received. All Addenda will be posted on-line for this Project by 5:00 PM on Monday, July 31, 2023.
