Work of the project consist of the installation of a 16' deep lift station and all associated appurtenances, installation of 52 linear feet of 18" clarifier effluent sewer pipe, installation of 178 linear feet of 8" force main and all associated appurtenances, installation of two cloth media disk filters and all associated piping and appurtenances, installation of a 350,000 GPD pump station with all associated appurtenances, installation of retaining wall and grading near lift station, pump station, and electrical service, and miscellaneous surface restoration for successful project completion, as described in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. No Bid shall be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accompanied by (1) a deposit of cash or a certified or cashier's check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), in an amount equal to five percent(5%) of the amount of the Bid. Including performance and payment bond, to City of Graham, Texas and returned or kept in accordance with State Law. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional Bids or counter Bids, and to accept the Bid that will be in the best interest of City of Graham. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all Registered Plan Holders. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
