Prevailing wage rates apply. The estimated cost of the base bid is $95,000 with the add estimated at $25,000. The University reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any quote if it determines it is in the Public Interest to do so. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. The work is estimated to cost $120,000.00. Time for Completion for this project shall be 25 consecutive calendar days from the date stipulated in the Notice to Proceed to commence the Work. The minimum combined MBE/WBE participation goal of 10.4 % The scope of the Base Bid work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide South University Avenue Improvements including excavation, trenching, backfilling, construction of a raised crosswalk, new cement concrete sidewalk, monolithic cement concrete sidewalk, installation of drainage curb opening with pedestrian grate, concrete wheelchair ramps, drainage improvements, relocation of emergency call box, removing and resetting granite curb, furnishing and placing mulch; loaming and seeding and other incidental work as described in the Drawings and Specifications and as required.
