This specification covers the removal, disturbance and stabilization of Lead Based Paint during renovations for The WNY DDSO at 12389 Olean Rd., Chaffee, NY. Work under this section includes the removal of carpet from the stairs, removal of loose or peeling Lead-based paint from the staircase to stability, repainting of staircase for paint film stabilization, and related cleanup activities. Lead based paint was identified on all wood stair components (treads, risers, railing, spindles, stringers, etc.). SCOPE OF WORK A. All work under this contract shall be performed in strict conformance with applicable federal, state and local rules, laws and regulations including but not limited to: 1. New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) 6NYCRR: 2. Part 360 Solid Waste Management Facilities. 3. Part 364 Waste Transporter Permits. 4. Part 370 Hazardous Waste Management System-General. 5. Part 371 Identification and Listing of Hazardous Wastes. 6. Part 372 Hazardous Waste Manifest System and Related Standards for Generators, Transporters and Facilities. 7. Part 373 Hazardous Waste Management Facilities. B.
